Multi-cultural Team

Charlotte Bilingual Preschool
Two-generation programming means families are empowered with the tools they need to sustain their children’s education long-term, and programs are designed in partnership with families.
Wraparound services include occupational therapy, speech therapy, and family counseling, all bilingual and all on-site. They are focused on removing barriers so that children can succeed long-term.
Charlotte Bilingual offers preschool programs for 3 and 4-year-old children, family programs including free ESL courses via CPCC (Central Piedmont Community College), ParentChild+ home visit programs, and Creciendo Juntos (Growing Together) early development workshops for parents with their infants and toddlers.

A recent external Alumni Tracking Study found that CltBP children enter Kindergarten ahead of Hispanic peers and maintain consistent growth and advantage through second grade.
VRG Components has made generous financial donations to this organization as recently as early 2022 and our CEO, Verena Martin, currently serves on their operations committee.
Project Eden Adelante is also near and dear to our hearts. This Honduras-based organization works to alleviate malnutrition and educate children in a corner of the world that suffers from a 60% poverty rate. Since VRG’s beginnings in 2014, our team’s hard work made it possible for 80 children to attend school for an entire year. VRG Components continues to financially support the ongoing education of several children.
Project Eden works to alleviate malnutrition among the people, mostly children, of the San Francisco de La Paz area in Honduras, and Adelante works to educate students from grades 4 through 12.
Service: They work side by side with the local population in the areas of agriculture, education, nutrition, and healthcare.
Spirituality: They worship and pray with the local community and the local church by reading and living the gospel.
Solidarity: They come to know the poor through listening and mutual sharing of resources.
Justice: They experience and reflect on the life of the poor and the reality of poverty.
